 Computer Disk Hardware Configuration Problem


Often when you try to start Windows XP, you may have seen an error like "Windows Could Not set up due to a Computer Disk Hardware Configuration Problem".

Similar to this you may get some more errors alike:
 

.   Verify boot path and disk hardware.
 

. Make sure the Windows documentation regarding hardware disk relationship and your hardware position manuals for other information.

1 If Boot.ini file is absent or unacceptable.
 

2 OS is not installed in the position particular in the Boot.ini file.
 

3. The separation path in the Boot.ini file is not set correctly.
 

4. Common hardware breakdown.

You also may apply the Bootcfg tools in the mending Console to mend the Boot.ini file.
