Partnered with Google, Coupons.com, USA Today, Fandango, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Weathernews and Web Sudoku, HP - Photosmart Premium incorporates a 4.33-inch touch screen for navigating websites and a software for accessing Web content from all HP partners.
The company’s strategy in manufacturing this printer device is to change the printing future of smart phones and mini-laptop users. By providing printing at a finger touch, this device is scheduled to be retailed at $399 (Rs. 19,422 approx) and will be available late September!
On the same day, HP also launched its Apps Studio- a customized website for downloading future applications for the printer developed by the third parties. It supports open APIs to encourage third parties to create content and share the same. The technologies that HP Apps makes use of is HTML, Linux based operating system and IMX 31 processor.
