The tech media has been aware for some time now that Sony Ericsson (SE) has been busy developing the Google Android Mobile phone, thought the SE itself has sealed its lips on details. However, a Danish website just leaked the images of this upcoming Android-based mobile phone and, yes, it, in fact is a beauty.
Following the information gleaned from Danish Mobil magazine, the phone is code-named Rachael and would hit the market later this year. The Rachael phone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform (QSD8250) that would provide the phone processor speeds of up to 1GHz and 7.2Mbit per second HSPA downlink speeds. It would come alive with 8.1 megapixel camera with flash and auto focus along with mini USB port and headphone jack. Definitely, once officially launched, this Android wonder gadget from Sony Ericsson would push its competitors like HTC Hero, Samsung Galaxy and iPhone3GS to obscurity.
